Public Image Limited and The Father Figures
John Lydon and Co aka Public Image Limited are coming to town and releasing new material in 20 years called This Is PiL! PiL formed back in 1978 after the split of the Sex Pistols and went on to become one of the more influential post-punk bands of this generation. The band's 1979 album Metal Box to this day is considered to be an absolute classic.
After a brief hiatus the Valley's own Father Figures return to the stage in a big way with an opening slot on this show. The Father Figures plan to enter the studio soon to record their sophomore follow-up to Lesson No. 1. Expect to hear plenty of material from that forthcoming album during their set!
