Black Joe Lewis & the Honey Bears may play the blues and soul but this band's energy takes those genres to unique places. With James Brown and Lightnin’ Hopkins as major influences the Austin-based band has developed a killer reputation that enabled them to open for bands such as Spoon and Okkervil River.
Tempe's Mergence will be a perfect opener for the evening with their great mix of rock and roll and blues. Add in the fact the band knows how to mix in a pop hook and you have all the elements of a great band. 21+ show. Tickets available at Stinkweeds.
