This will be a special, intimate show with a legendary performer from the early 90's Sub Pop scene! Jeremy Enigk has been a vital part of the music scene for three decades now. Possessing a very unique vocal style and an ability to craft lyrics that speak volumes, Enigk has created five solo albums since his 1996 debut Return of the Frog Queen. A sixth solo disc is currently being worked on. Jeremy Enigk was also a part of a band by the name of The Fire Theft from 2001-2004 and they released one album together. That band was important because Enigk and the two other members of the band, bassist Nate Mendel and drummer William Goldsmith, were 3/4 of the legendary emo band on Sub Pop Records (long before emo became a trendy thing) Sunny Day Real Estate. SDRE may have only released four albums between 1994-2000 and have broken up numerous times over the years but their legacy remains powerful and their music an inspiration to legions of artists today. Jeremy Enigk is a vital part of that.
Opening the show is Tomo Nakayama, a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from Seattle, Washington. Fog On The Lens, released in March 2015, is his first solo album, made after nearly a decade fronting beloved Seattle chamber-pop band Grand Hallway, and composing for an acting in Lynn Shelton’s Sundance Grand Jury nominated film "Touchy Feely". 21+ show
