Pato Banton And The New Generation and Dee Dread

Score: 0

Pato Banton (born Patrick Murray) is a reggae singer and toaster from Birmingham, England. He received the nickname "Pato Banton" from his stepfather. The first name derives from a Jamaican night owl that stays up all night calling "patoo, patoo" and the last name from the disc jockey slang word "Banton" which means heavyweight lyricist or storyteller. He first came to the attention of the music world working with The Beat, recording "Pato and Roger a Go Talk" with Ranking Roger, included on the 1982 album Special Beat Service. He has released 17 studio albums since 1985. Pato Banton And The New Generation is a show not to miss folks! Dee Dread will open this 21+ show.
