    MOOSE BLOOD [sold out]

This show is sold out! MOOSE BLOOD Part of the British emo-punk revival of the 2010s, Canterbury, England quartet Moose Blood channel the spirits of American emo forebears like Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and Acceptance. The band -- composed of vocalist/guitarist Eddy Brewerton, guitarist Mark E. Osborne, bassist Kyle Todd, and drummer Glenn Harvey -- formed in 2012, releasing their first three songs on Bukowski Demo (Summer '12) in August and playing their first live show mere months later. Although the bandmembers honed their musical chops in hardcore bands like Burn Down Rome and Harbours, they pined for more singing and melody in their music. That songcraft was apparent on their debut EP, Moving Home (Fist in the Air), as well as their single "Boston" b/w "Orlando." After a split EP with Departures was released on No Sleep, Moose Blood signed with the label and released their critically lauded debut LP, I'll Keep You in Mind, From Time to Time. Produced by Saosin's Beau Burchell, the 2014 effort peaked at number 45 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and included updates on earlier tracks alongside polished emo rock. Following the success of I'll Keep You in Mind, the group joined the Warped Tour and played the Reading & Leeds festivals. In late 2015, the band returned to the studio, once again employing the guidance of Burchell. They signed with Hopeless Records in 2016 and unveiled their sophomore set, Blush, another collection of emotional confessionals headed by lead single "Honey."

With TROPHY EYES , BOSTON MANOR & A WILL AWAY. This show is all ages.

POWER TRIP slay us with the first new single “Firing Squad” from their anxiously awaited sophomore release Nightmare Logic, which finally sees light February 24 on Southern Lord. “Firing Squad” debuted via NPR who’ve described it as possessing “a certain monolithic quality Lemmy would admire: a massive rawness and a sludgy, heavy hopelessness that thrashes with punk immediacy and metal intricacy…it’s a track preparing for war.” Power Trip are a real band - like no other. Their raw energy, musical proficiency, perfect song structure, rich tones, fierce riffs, persecution and collective attitude has seeded them as one of the most prolific underground staples in the U.S. metal, punk and hardcore scenes. Power Trip have relentlessly toured the world for years now with the likes of Anthrax, Lamb Of God, Cro-Mags, Negative Approach, Turnstile, Backtrack, Eyehategod, Bane, Off! and having performed with literally countless others, in addition to pummeling audiences at major festivals all over the US, EU and beyond.

All Them Witches / Idle Bloom

All Them Witches Heavy, heady and hypnotic, All Them Witches concoct a powerful and potent psychedelic sound that fuses bluesy soul, Southern swagger and thunderous hard rock. With their transfixing releases, 2012’s Our Mother Electricity and 2014’s Lightning At The Door, and a jam-filled live show where no two shows are the same, the band has amassed a devoted following and have become something of a sensation in the underground rock scene. “The band seemingly channels the churn of the universe and connects with a big, bad, uncaring cosmos,” wrote the Boston Globe, adding, “There is a primal ebb and flow at the core… The band’s mystic atmosphere, dark but not brutal, is the result of a tireless work ethic, a grueling tour schedule, and a tape trader’s compulsion for documenting every show.”

They’re playing at The Rebel Lounge on 05/16/2017 with IDLE BLOOM.

    This show is 21+.
